To the Group
I got a phone call this morning from Susanne Altenberger asking me to
post that there would be a Birdwatcher anchored out, a Lilly to be used
as a tender, and a GoodBoat on shore display at the wooden Boat Show
this coming weekend in Newport, R.I.
Phil Bolger and Susanne will either be in Booth 665 at Fort Warren or
out on the Bird Watcher. She asks that any Bolgerites who can bring
their own boats to Newport do so with the intent of anchoring out off
the Fort themselves. She volunteered the Lilly as a tender for those who
do make it by sea.
Many apologies for the late notice, she said, but they only got the same
themselves from Wooden Boat. The show, she says, runs from 10 am Friday
to Sunday.
See you there
