Okay I got the BC ply
I have a lot of confidence in Boise Cascade plywood. I called the main
office in Boise Idaho and talked to their old "plywood guru" and he gave me
a lot of useful information. With Boise ply you can look at the mill stamp
and see which mill produced it. This will give you a lot of info on its glue
and also inner ply types. I won't say anything bad about other
manufacturers but I will say that Boise ply is the only kind I will use. I
am impressed with its' quality and I know how and where it is produced.
Boise doesn't use any interior grade glue. It is all the same glue that
is used in marine and aircraft grade ply. However, the White City Oregon
mill uses a slightly different glue because they also make the engineered
floor joists. It is a very high quality glue.
