Hull Form Question

I've been wondering what differences, if any, there are between the
sailing performance of a multi-chine boat like Chebacco and a V-
bottom boat like the Core Sound 17 (Could not think of a Bolger V-
bottom sailing design off hand, sorry). Could someone with experience
of both give me some insight here? I would appreciate it very much.
