Glen,
Glad to see that you have settled on the Micro. What city are you in? I
live in Suisun City / Fairfield. Hoping to get my nearly finished Folding
Schooner out on the water this spring.

To all,
Just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to all who responded to my origional post.
I appreciate your comments and suggestions very much, and in fact this has
allowed me to come to the decision which I've been leaning toward for 2 years:
Micro is the boat for me!
I've had the plans for a couple of years, and have gone over them dozens of
times. It's a great boat, will satisify my requirements as far as size, people
capacity, building ease, and most of all safety (I have 3 small children). I
started last night (OK, so I only made a spar gauge, but it's a start ;-).
I should be starting in earnest in the next month or so. I am seriously
considering in doing what some others are doing, in using 3/8" plywood for the
whole boat, and MDO sounds like a great solution as well. Should result in a
strong, easy to finish boat.
Thanks again, and I look forward to joining the MOA whenever it's up.
