[bolger] Re: Epoxy Recoating?
Yes, you need to wash off the blush (soap and 3M scrubber) if you let it
harden between coats. Also, a scratch-sand of 80 grit is a good idea.

I have had to go away from our Folding Schooner project for a day. I
put the second coat on within the recommended recoat time. The bottom
needs one more coat of epoxy to fill all the weave. Do I need to give
the bottom a light sanding before recoating the bald spots? If so
what grit would you use? Do you think it better to skim coat the whole
bottom or can I just bring up the low spots?
