Jerry et. al.,
What I do is right click on the url and open the link in a new window.
The initial line will probably get you a '404 not found message'.
Then I go back to the original browser window and copy the second
line. Then go to the other browser window and (being sure the cursor
is at the end of the address line) paste the next bit into that
address line. Click reload or hit enter and you should have a good link.
Remember that many addresses end in htm or html or psp, but hardly
ever some character like these, %$#@*&^><>. So if a strange character
is on the end of the address line, just position your cursor and
backspace to get to the actual end of the address and you should be
good to go.
As for getting a long URL to wrap here on Yahoo... I've never been
able to either.
Long address strings are one reason thathttp://tinyurl.com/was born.
Best,
Leo

You can then paste a short url into your message. It's free, and
works like a charm.

How do I insert a link into my posting? I want to add a long URL that
gets wrapped to the next line in the message. When someone tries to
open the URL, it doesn't work because the end of the URL is not part
of the link.

SF Pelican 12
gets wrapped to the next line in the message. When someone tries to
open the URL, it doesn't work because the end of the URL is not part
of the link.
