...shows photos of my Labor Day use of my Bolger
Yellow Leaf. I am very happy with that boat, it is
just the right compromise between large and small.

I was able to easily cartop it, alone, on top of my
RV. I guess it weighs about 50 lbs. I modified the
'standard' Yellow Leaf by adding the gunnel strips,
[what the heck are those things called?]

I also added a very small seat/thwart plus some
canvas 'decks' fore and aft. It can carry two kids
and one adult. With just one adult, it glides along
fast and stable. The center seat/thwart also allows
the boat to be balanced on your shoulders, and at
one point I carried it about 300 yards without really
breaking a sweat.
I am looking for any bolger fans in the seattle area. I have a
completed otter 2 hull that I have to get rid of. It is in good
shape. It will need a little work before it goes into the water. It
would be nice to get some $ for it but I am more concerned about
saving it from the sawsall at this point. I do have a trailer. If
the trailer is needed I will have to get $500.00 for that. The
trailer is not galvinized but it has new rails and only minor rust.
A great deal of time was put into this boat. I have lots of pics.
If anyone is interested please respond soon I have about a month to
get it moved.
