The original write-up was in Mike O'Brien's design quarterly. The
idea is much the same as the one Bruce posted some time ago. It has
the cutwater bow and the diesel motor is mounted inside it - meant to
be running most of the time, even when sailing, the exhaust going up
the mizzen pipe mast. So it has a modest sailplan. It was my idea to
graft the Chinese gaff rig on her for more sail area.
I believe the interior is very similar to that of the BREAKDOWN
SCHOONER, in BWAOM page 320. Crew quarters in the pilot house and
guest quarters in the bow.
It calls for plywood construction. I will see if I can locate the
original article.
The dream would be cruise it from Vancouver to Alaska:-)

For those, like me, who had to dig around to find the files that
Jason was talking about, here is the link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Bolger2/files/MS%20Cargo%20Boat/
I, too, would love to see the interior layout if anyone has it. I
love the look and layout of a little cargo-type boat.
Macnaughton Yacht Designs has some nice cargo-type designs, including
a few that are worthy of Bolger in their audacity. If you're
interested in this type of boat:
http://www.macnaughtongroup.com/catalog.htm
I especially like the Hero 33 and the Cat Raised Deck Motorsailer
under IDEA DESIGNS and Puffin 36 in the stock catalog.
Cheers,
Matthew

I think this is one of my new favorites, albeit too big for me to
ever build.
Anyone know if one has been built or if there are more sketches out
there other than the sail plan and dimensions in the files?(box keel
profile, interior layout etc.).
Thanks,
