Re: New Subscriber question

Welcome to the group, Jim. I'm sure no-one minds how many newcomer
questions you ask, within reason. I'd say no-one has answered you yet
because no-one knows anyone who does kits for Bolger boats.

Bobcat's tack-and-tape construction is so simple -- at least as far
as building the hull is concerned -- that a kit would hardly be
needed. If you have the articles, you'd already have a good idea of
what is involved.

Please excuse my lack of knowledge but I've thought that the Bobcat /
Tiny Cat would be a great boat ever since I first saw it in SBJ #40
way back in, whenever.
Apparently I'm not the only one as Mr Payson wrote a pair of building
articals later as well as a book, plans, full size layouts and who
knows what else.
However, has anyone ever offered a kit, ala Nutmeg pram, shellback
dinghy, etc of the boat? If not, how come? I realize the full scale
latouts are but a step removed but I'd be surprised if no one ever
offered a kit for a boat as popular as this one is / was.
