You are right there the VRML goes way beyond the wire frame.

Shucks. Do get a VRML plug-in for your Internet Explorer or Netscape and
make some VRML (solid) files (actually *.wrl) to view. Neater than wireframe.

Sometime, I want to automate the heeled displacement to generate a polar
curve - that would be a neat trick.

I agree. Many thanks to Gregg for making this available. I've had it a
year and a half and play with it all the time, being a compulsive amateur
boat designer. I'm a novice computer user but found it easy to learn. I
used it to help design a hull replacement for a 30' tri I am rebuilding
www.multihullboatbuilder.com/ "Trifle") and have since designed many
"next boats" and "what ifs" some of which I hope will get built some day. I
also looked at Carene and Plyboats and found them more difficult, so why
switch? I love the way small changes can be made instantly and all that
tedious math done for you, and spinning wireframes around is endless fun!
Thanks Gregg.
