While sitting in the barbershop today I found this in Boating (Jan
2000) ina special advertising section----------
Bunks are recommended long term over rollers.
Under 3000# GW "you'll be OK" with single axle and its advantages.
Over 3500# GW go with tandem axle. Expect $300-500 upgrade.
Trailer brakes always a good thing for any size load. WI ND: brakes
required. CO PA MN WA: brakes on each axle. (In Virginia only trailers
with brakes need to be inspected)
2000-3500# GW you need a Class II hitch.
Nothing about aluminum. And so forth ....
