Re: [bolger] paint over coat times?

Jason,

I recently used 123 on a pirouge. You can recoat the primer after an hour,
no sanding necessary. I let 3 coats of primer cure for about 3 days before
painting with exterior enamel. I put on 2 coats of paint for 2 days (4 coats
in all) and I've been pleased with the results. Your climate may dictate
some changes, Here is was 90 degrees average with 80-90% humidity.

Easiest solution is to call the bullseye people, ask for a tech engineer and then ask him what you've asked here. They're interested in having their product work right, so they should give you the straight stuff.

Hey folks,

Trying to prime/paint my micro but the weather is not cooperating.

suitable days are few and far between for painting due to rain and
sub 50 degree temps. Tommorrow is looking good though.

I'm using the bullseye 123 stuff and the label says i can recoat in
1 hour(if hummidity and temp allows). Does that mean just recoat
with primer or can i overcoat with my top coat. Do i need to sand
the stuff before applying the top coat? It's not high build primer
and the hull is as fair as i'm going to bother with.

The can also states that it takes one week for full adhesion....does
that mean i need to wait week before sanding and applying the top
coat?

I've only used latex/waterbased paint on trailhead kiosks, fences
and a bolger brick the goal on these items was not "professional" so
i'm unsure how to do it properly........heaven forbid i'm trying to
follow the directions!

Thanks for any advice,
Jason

Hey folks,

Trying to prime/paint my micro but the weather is not cooperating.
