Pictures of Bruce Tyson's Spur II/Painted in Bolger4photos group.
Hi,
He's (My father, Bruce)launched his Catboat the "Dolly T", had his
first sail in her, and by the way is really, really pleased and
looking forward to lots more sailing, especially as the weather is
now becomming very pleasant indeed!
Now he's only a week or three away from launching his "Spur II"
clinker Ply Bolger designed rowing boat.
he's epoxied her and faired her, now the first undercoat of paint is
on, a bit more fairing and sanding then a second coat, she'll be
flipped up the right way, all the inside work, like seats etc. and
finishing will be done. .....Then she'll be flipped back on her
back for the last time for the last 3-4 finishing coats of paint and
the half oval brass stem band and the stainless stell keel
sheathing!.
I've posted 2 pictures of the first grey undercoat in the files
section of Bolger4photos group in the folder "Tyson's Merlin , Sabre
and SpurII pics". First ones called "Spur II Grey 01.jpg,
then ...02.jpg.

Hugo Tyson, whos' fingers are almost worn out after all this typing.
No this is not quite true, as I'm a guitarist and have very hard
fingers! But I've been at this computer too long this evening!!!!
