Storm Petrel sized hull FS
I have noted an ongoing resurfacing of the Storm Petrel design. I have a
similar sized hull that I was looking forward to finishing in
retirement, but unfortunately that just got pushed back three years. The
"backyard marina" is overcrowded, so I have decided to sell the hull and
trailer. It is a copy of a West Wight Potter 15 done in marine plywood
and Epoxy fiberglass on a Hobie trailer. Just the complete hull with
no cabin, but done very well.. It is stout and strong and has never seen
the water. Asking $500 for the hull and trailer, but other combinations
of (Sunfish) lateen mast and spars, or small outboard are possible.
Located on the OR/CA line, but west coast delivery during Thanksgiving
week is a possibility. Pics and details available off list only from jim
at sisqtel.net (substitute@, no spaces). Please do not clutter the list
with questions, but for someone interested this is a heck of a deal.
Interestingly, in England the Potters were available (in wood) as
fishingboats too, and I can forward you an ad showing this if
interested. JimG
