Hi,
I've just added a few more pictures to the Folder(Tyson's SpurII,
Merlin and Dolly T Pics" in the Photo section of Bolger4photos.
These show the inwales glued in place and breasthook and stern knees with floor
members for the floorboards fitted(Not glued yet!)
It looks like all the woodworking will be done by about the end of
this week, wit a bit of luck, only the floor boards to be made and
fitted.
A little bit of metal work such as stem band, keel band
(sheathing) and rowlock plates and painting and then she's finished.
say about three weeks time....maybe. My father likes to put about
10 - 12 coats of varnish on , so these take time!. He's not sure yet
if he'll varnish all the inside or only just the inwale,
breasthook,stern knees, seat bulkheads, floorboards and seat slats
and paint the rest a soft creamy-off white!
