Hi Ken,

Hmmm, between my experience with PB&F, and that guy that no one will
buy plans from, CSD? it's a wonder any Micros ever got built.

Yes, the Hartley TS16 is a great boat although a much more complex
build than a Micro.

I bought the plans direct from Hartley in New Zealand some years back.

She's been on my 'list to build' for some time now. Just thought the
Micro would be nice. Ah well.

Good luck with the Fisherman 18. Hartley designed some nice stuff.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

Why don't you fax them? I heard they respond faster to faxes, and as
you know mail has been known to get lost from time to time.

Then again the Hartley 16 is a fine boat. I have the plans for a
Hartley Fisherman 18 myself, although I'm not sure when I will have a
chance to build it. Maybe some day ... :)

Well, it's about 6 weeks since I snail mailed PB&F to order plans for a
Micro.

Haven't heard a word since.

I give up. I'm going to build a Hartley TS16 instead.

Funny way to run a business.

Paul.
Don't suppose you would need a crew member for that schooner at Easter?

HI Bruce, would it be OK to ask you some questions about ply/epoxy
suppliers etc in WA as I am quite new here.
We can do this off list if you like so as not to bore others :-)

Thanks for all the feedback, one other question, howcome other places are
allowed to resell Bolgers plans?
And Yes I will get them from Mr. bolger direct if that's the proper thing
to do.

The only approved sources of plans are direct from Bolger and Friends
(details appear at the bottom of each posting on this list) or from
Payson at http://www.instantboats.com, although he doesn't sell the
Micro plans so that isn't much help.

Hi John,

Neither source are officially authorized to resell the plans and are
basically stealing money form PCB&F.

How soon do you want them? I have a set of unused plans that I
purchased from Bernie Wolfard when he was an authorized re-seller. I
won't be using them as I already have a Micro that I purchased last
year. However I am not sure where the plans are at the moment and
probably would not be able to send them until after Christmas. They
are complete and in new condition last time I looked. You won't get
that with CSD for sure as he doesn't sell the complete plans.

Also be aware that there have been several upgrades to the design and
the upgrade sheets are only available directly from Bolger. I have a
set of the upgrade sheets too and I have posted a sample page at the
Bolger4 files location

http://tinyurl.com/4agam

I probably will be keeping those sheets as I plan to modify a Long
Micro to those plans.

Cheers, Nels
Hi, it's been some time (years) since I was a memeber of this list and am
now living on the other side of Aus.(WA)
I would like to purchase a set of plans for a Micro and was wondering if
anyone could tell me whats the difference from purchasing a set from CSD
directly as apposed to getting them from a reseller like Duckflat wooden
boats in Aus?
Do I get better quality getting them from CSD (I think I read somewhere
once that if you get them from a reseller they can be photocopies and not
as good)
The cost looks about the same give or take depending on the exchange rate.

Thanks
