With a front wheel drive car, you would have better traction on a
ramp with a trailer hitch in the front. Since you would be facing the
boat and the steering wheels are on the same end as the hitch, it is
much easier to guide the trailer down the ramp. I have seen front
hitches for sale. You would have the extra time of unhitching and
turning the car around in the parking lot, twice.

Thanks guys for your help and Nels I would like a picture of your
setup when your scanner is working. Someone posted a link to the
maib article several years ago and I lost it when a virus got into my
machine recently. Dave
