Chuck L. is also building a F.S., but I am Chuck C., on the shores of San
Fran, or vary nearly so. I have decided in the interest of getting my boat
on the water ASAP, that I will attempt to use the lee boards that the
original builder built. I will need to figure out the attachement point, but
this should not be to difficult. I can expirement with this arrangement, and
then over next winter, I think I'll rebuild the center section as per plans.
Of course, if the new arragements work out well, point higher than it would
as designed then maybe I'll keep it though I think it takes away the sweet
looks of the F.S. However, according to a note from P. Bolger, its not
likely to work as well as the original design.
