RE: Re: How many Micros ?

Thanks for your reply Peter.
Is difficult for me to think only one hundred were built until date !!
I imagined several hundreds of that cheap, simple and marvelous design,
full of logic and common sense.
The question now, is why so few ?

About your question...........None of the 3 groups is mine..... I'm a
professional boatbuilder that finishes the constructions, now seeking
for a boat for my teenager sons build without my help.

By the way your signature is interesting.
Sincerely
Raul from Brazil

The short answer is:not enough!`:-) Otherwise I would hazard a
really rough optimistic guess of perhaps something near, but not
over,100 total.
Part of the guessing calculations are loosely based
on approximate plan sales.Lots of plans get sold, lots of folk wimp
out of the actual building process and more still simply love to
keep a dream alive and thus buy plans to demonstrate that they
are"this close" to starting. And,of course, there are some who simply
go about their business, buy the plans, build the boat and sail off
into the sunset without ever a peep.....leaving us with the last
group who actually do start building but abandon the project before
ever launching....this becomes: a) expensive firewood,b) expensive
flower box or c) expensive eye-sore.
Which group would you place yourself into Raul?
