Re: [bolger] Bobcat / Tinycat constuction problem
Hi Bobby
The drawings of Bobcat in one of Payson's boat modelling books have an
additional note [not in PCB's hand] shown on the bilge panels, saying "cut
away Frame D in way of butt strap".
Hope this helps...
cheers

I started to install the bilge panels on my Bobcat on Friday and ran
into a problem. The butt straps fall right on top of a bulkhead. I
am building the boat straight from the book. I rechecked all the
measurements and the panel is perfect (fits fine otherwise) and I
can't see anything I did wrong. Is there a mistake in the book as to
where to put the joint? Or is there a mistake as to the width of
this butt strap ( the book indicates it should be 4 inches wide). By
the way I bought this book about 10 years ago.
