Re: [bolger] One Design Racer -Intn'l Offshore Suite 14ft Proposal on Web
Addition to this I posted earlier:-
Jim Betts/Ted Brewer designed So-Du-It., which
can be found by using the Databoat search on databoat.com.
(The URL prob wouldnt work, its about 2 lines long.)
This is a very capable little boat, self righting and
pretty swift judging from the amount of sail.
Cheers.

Nils Andersson, a Swede from San Diego, has designed
and built a rather bizzarre 14ft composite offshore capable yacht.
The boat is well developed, capable, and looks remarkably
like a Micro in general dimension.
He has carefully worked out Class Rules for a one-design class
which may help with the Bolger one-des proposal.
I sincerely doubt he's been killed in the rush
to race accross oceans in fourteen footers. But his
boat is a no-nonsense piece of apparatus, looks safe and
well thought out. As are his 1-D rules.

I sincerely doubt he's been killed in the rush
to race accross oceans in fourteen footers. But his
boat is a no-nonsense piece of apparatus, looks safe and
well thought out. As are his 1-D rules.
