I believe John Guzzwell used this mst construction on his custom-built
ocean racer named "Endangered Species". I have no idea if this is the
article in Wooden Boat, but it might be. I am pretty sure this
describes how he constructed the mast.

1/2in wide and just thick enough to be epoxied into a saw cut. The material
