Re: Resin Curing Problem

If you want to see a nifty device for getting a good mix of your
epoxy, look at my article in Duckworks titled Epoxy Ratio Scale.

Wash with soap and water well, before scuffing, otherwise you risk just
"scuffing it in," and you won't be getting rid of it. After that, you can
rough it up a bit. - Bill

This is perfectly normal. It's probably just 'amine blush' - the extent of
which depends on curing temperature, humidity and so on. It can be washed
off with soapy water.

If it's been cured more than a day or so it's a good idea to scuff it all
with sandpaper before applying the next layer.

I tasped all the seams on my Bobcat the other day. The next day when I
checked it, some of the resin had kicked just fine but in some places
it is still "tacky" to the touch. It has hardened but the surface is
sticky. Is this normal? Can I continue on ang glass over this? Or do
I nedd to sand it all off and start over?
