The other day I saw a catamaran that had a telescoping mast. I am not
sure if it was 2 or 3 sections. Not sure how it went up either. Was
driving by and didn't stop (should have).

Dear List members,
has anybody espied a successful (or otherwise) design for a telescoping mast.?
I'm thinking of the order of three 10ft sections, not a massive unit.
For use in trailering, negotiating low bridges, fixing jammed halyards etc etc.
Thanks in advance.
