Shivaree, one of Phil Bolger favorites
It is saying alot when a boat is good enough
for Phil Bolger to own, keep and use personally.
Here is a model of the Shivaree (18 foot stretch),
width of 7'6", and designed for a 50 hp
motor. There was an article a few years
back describing her performance is some
pretty wild open offshore conditions.

Not a yonder board! a romp board! Bruce's model building mayhem is

Anyone ever build a leeboard cat boat?....the one in the real cruiser
part of boats with and open mind? I can't quit thinking i need one of
those boats. Did bolger ever get around to stretching it out like he
wanted it? Cat Yawl or chinese gaff? Currently my favorite bolger
boat.....i sure could screw building that beauty up! maybe a junk rig
and a yonder center board to ruin the interior.....yes i can see it
now. Bruce H. you want to build me a model? ;) The offsets are all
right there in the book!
