Scarph joints
Hi all
I got some advertising mail today from Time-Life Books offering books and
tapes
starting with a book on the use of routers. There was some teasers showing
some
of the jigs that you could build. One of these jigs could be easily adapter
for Scarph
joints. It could be used on just about any thickness of ply. I believe
that once the jig was set up that It would be possible to cut a perfect
scarph in say 3/8" ply in ten minutes.
It would be nice to draw it up and offer it to anyone in the Bolger group
for free. My skills as a draftsman are non-existant. Does anyone out there
want to help to draw this
up?.
It would not take more than say $15.00 worth of wood to build it. You would
need a
large (3/4" or 1") straight bit and a router to use it.
Any draftsmen out there?
