Re: Super Brick Yawl?

sorry it is photo 59 in the photo section.

as to the sail, I really was just looking for a place to store the
mast and sail for the tortoise and thought that it might be used
downwind.
You don't say where you posted it -- there are lots of possible places.

The Tortoise mast would not be strong enough to use as mizzen on a SB,
which has far more stability than the Tortoise.

Posted a drawing of a modified SB. The Tortise, by PB is a small punt
that has the same lanteen sail and offset mast, with also a bilge
board that just looks like a small SB. So, if you put it on the fore
deck, where you going to store the sail while under way on the SB. So
I thought you could place the Torise Sail on the back of the SB like
the Micro has a really aft sail. The SB Mailsail would have to be
reduced cause the spars go well past the stern when the sail is down.

Only fooling around, just a thought.
