Barn Owl in the West River

All:

Saturday morning at about 10AM, I spotted what I think to be PCB's
original Barn Owl getting underway leaving the West River in
Galesville, Maryland. (West shore of Chesapeake Bay...ten miles SW of
Annapolis) The boat headed out toward Thomas Point Light where I
lost sight of her. I suspect that this is the original boat because
it was blue with a white sheerline and hard the Barn Owl logo on the
mainsail. Main and foresail were both set on wishbones, the stays'l
was set and the jib as well - although not on a boom as shown in
BWAOM.

The people who were with me on the West River Sailing Club Race
Committee boat gave her a strange look. I'm afraid I've run across
only one other Bolger fan there. I described the two centerboards
and hogged keelson as well as the wishbones. I'm afraid it got the
standard reaction from people who own and race conventional white
fiberglass sloops.

Does anyone know if another boat has been built to the Barn Owl
design?
