MJ BUILDING QUESTION
Hi Col,
decided to cut out all the drain holes shown in the plans and those not
shown but obviously needed to collect the water at the lowest point of the
hull (we shall sail offshore and will install a bilge pump).
Tim's AS29 built by Duck Flat Wooden Boats lacks drain wholes totally!
Last year when working on the interior I realized that there are two wholes
that drain right into the mattress of the double bunk so I will either have
to fill the holes or cut off the ends of the bunk.
I suspect there are some more holes that I shall question in future but
until now I have no regrets as it will be easy to fill a useless whole.
Much in contrast to make a new one later on.
