_Shrike_ (the "His and Her" Schooner #512) is still lying at her
mooring. I'm planning to take her out tonight and tomorrow evening,
break her down for transport when I come back in tomorrow, and haul
her out onto the trailer before we leave on Friday. We should be
there on Friday around dinner time, to launch her for the Messabout
first thing Saturday morning.

The Water Van is on the trailer and ready to go. If "Big Brown", (my 1987
Suburban), doesn't fail me, I'll there on Friday afternoon. Looking
forward to meeting everyone for the first time. George and I will be
bringing guitars to entertain those who can stand to listen. We actually
don't sound too bad. We play open mikes at least once a month, and we
haven't been kicked of the stage yet.

The Happy Adventure is on its way. We launched in Rockland Ontario
nine days ago and have had a wonderful trip and we are about 35 miles
from the messabout. Hope to arrive friday evening. What a wonderful
way to travel. Hope to see some more Bolgerados and Bolger craft,
bolger talk etc. I will have a slide show of our month aboard a
Converted Martha Jane in France.
The houseboat #481 is amazing with the new motor a 9.9 yamaha high
thrust. It sips gas, the large prop makes it easy to handle in the
locks and the wind. I added a 8 inch spray board on the bow and it
almost eliminates any splash in larger waves. See ya there. Paul
