I generally figure the same amount to 20% more of time required for the hull for a
dinghy for finishing. A third to a half for bigger boats.

I have had a frenetic flurry of activity with the only major bits left to do are
the keel, mast & spars. After that it is all the finishing work (which I suspect
will take me longer then planned!!) I have people who will help me fill and
paint unlike the construction which was a solo affair..
The boat is on its side and I expect to start work on the keel this weekend...
After Pippos lamentations it sounds as if I am boasting, remember, I bought the
plans nearly two years ago!
A note of caution for David Jost... I would be careful about making up lead plug
before fitting the bottom... I think they all have a slightly different curve
and waiting could save you some time later when trying to get the plug to line
up.. Am I being over careful??
