RE: [bolger] New group: bolger_study_plans_only
John,
I think you deserve a medal for the best idea ever. Why didnt I think of
this?

I have created a new group for us to post scans of line drawings of Bolger
designs called "bolger_study_plans". My hope is for this group to become a
specialized repository of information for everyone to refer to whenever
discussion of a particular design comes up on the main Bolger group.
To get things started I have posted drawings of some of my favorite Bolger
boats for you to enjoy and also to help you get an idea of how I'd like to
see things structured. Right now you can find drawings of the Alaska Cargo
Boat, Champlain, Jochems Family Schooner, and Topaz.
Besides these boats, I plan to add over the next few evenings all the
Chebacco versions, Wyoming, Illinois, Retriever, Insolent 60, Shivaree,
Yonder, Delaware, Tahiti, Seabird 86, Fastbrick, Birdwatcher, Windermere,
and Sitka Explorer. And I can probably find more to add beyond these.
Likewise, I encourage you to add your favorites. All I ask is that you keep
it to Bolger plans only.
I'm going to reserve the right to clean up any extraneous photos and also to
reduce the size of large files in order for us to get more drawings
available to use as a reference.
Hopefully you all will find this to be a useful and oft-referred to addition
to the bolger family of groups.
Best regards,
John Bell
