Re: panel expansions?
I wrote that program - it's here:

with it.
I hope I'm not exceeding my mandate by posting this in public, but
Thomas Hamernik has created an Excel spreadsheet to do panel
expansions. I've perused it a bit, though I have not really tried it.
If anyone's interested, message me off list.

There is a Perl program out there somewhere. Do a google search.
I had downloaded at one time. I'll see if I can find it and email to
you privately.
Of course there is also the free program from Carlson Design in the
links section of this group. It is incredible and some one out there
may have even created a .hul file already.

Another way to go would be to use a photocopier to make several
scaled up copies of the drawing in BWAOM, paste every second or
third section shape onto sheet balsa, cut the shapes out, mount them
upside down on a baseboard and then plank with sheet balsa or
formica or whatever (thin cupro-nickel sheet?). You could make
either a half-model or a full model.
In his book, Samual Devlin describes how to derive panel shapes from
plans without using a computer.

off sets and getting expanded panel shapes? I want to build a model of
