I think you've identified why we use System Three or West System or Raka
epoxies. They buy from the big outfits like Dow and then formulate their
products for use in boatbuilding. Different mixes and additives can give
widely varying properties and handling characteristics.
I suppose Dow does provide research groups with "small" sample quantities,
but I'd guess they really prefer to ship in tanker trucks.

what we are to use for hardeners down here. (Or up and over here from
Australia.)
I remember a reference to bulk Dow resins in one of John Gardners
books. I'll see if I can find it tomorrow. Maximo, I doubt that you
