I think this skiff might be just a bit easier to climb in and out,
while boarding boats at ancorage, which was its intended use.

This skiff is from three sheets of 1/4" plywood. I imagine piling a
stack of them on a trailer for a family sized messabout [scout troup,
etc.] at the lake.

The Light Dory nests pretty well, you have to put a couple of pads to
keep from damaging seats.
