Re: Trailerable width

Keep in mind that under federal law, a width of 8'6" is permitted on any interstate
highway. So if you're just passing through, a local limit of 8 feet doesn't matter.
Going through what the list said about Or. and Wa. and what the state
sights say for a reasonable fee one can go 10' wide in most areas and
most times so check with the DMV in your area or where you want to go.

FWIW, eight feet is pretty much the maximum that Phil
Bolger has designed for in a trailered boat.
I may vary from place to place but I believe eight and
one-half feet is legal pretty much everywhere. Sam
