New member asking for help
I am hoping to find some assistance in understanding how
I can use one of the programs available to plot the hull and keel form
of my existing boat and then try out alterations that I am thinking
about to help
the sailboats performance. Yes I know the standard answer is "why not
just buy the
another boat" but I can not an option. I know the next
objection; it will cost so, so much to alter the boat But, No, I am
not hiring the work to be done so it will not cost the price of
changing boats and then fixing the problems in that old boat. The
research I have done so far seems to indicate that I have one of the
most stable, stiff sailboat designs that can be trailered and yet give
a lot of interior room in a 27' to 28' LOA hull. Does any of the other
members have comments? Can anyone help me learn? I am willing to accept
direct emails.
