For Microsoft's Outlook Express: Write your response. Save it (file/save).
It will show up in the "Drafts" folder. When you highlight it, you can then
click on the link.

Oops,

That link didn't work. I'm new to this stuff, try the link this way:

Does anyone know whether there's a way to test these links before we
post a false alarm?

Cheers,
DG

Just want to add my confirmation to that comment. Sam Manning is one
of the best illustrators going of how wooden boats go together and Bud
McIntosh one of that all-time great writers. Wise, witty, practical
and very humorus. If you enjoy PCB and Dynamites writings then you
should read this book.

Those two books are a great pair to own!

Howdy,

I know the Wittman book is a good one. Good info and beautiful
boatporn fotos. For how a yahoo group can run a library, you might
contact Frank at:

Mind you, ours is limited mostly to the Pacific Northwest, so shipping
costs/times wouldn't be as great as for a worldwide group like this
one.

I am thinning out the library, and have a couple books that I will
pass on at half price and shipping to the brotherhood. Years back I
suggested that we form a group library, though perhaps this is a bit
idealistic. If someone has a great idea how to manage such a thing, I
still feel that it could be a benefit to all. Anyhow, you can contact
jim at sisqtel.net (offlist!) if Brightwork the Art of Finishing Wood
(half=$17) by Rebecca J.Whittman or How to Build a Wooden Boat ($18)
by David C."Bud" MacIntosh are books you would like to own. Both for
$30. IMHO, the illustrations in Wooden Boat are some of the best
"communicative" drawings I have ever seen.
