What can I do that the screw doesn't stick at the
bottom part to the Epoxy? What about spray coating it with oil?
Oil or grease will work to keep the bolts from sticking. When I built my
Swifty I used stainless steel wood screws to hold everything together while the
epoxy set up. The next day I removed almost all of the screws, but those I
missed seemed to want to stay in the boat (epoxy really takes more than 24 hours to
really set.) But heat from a soldering iron or heat from friction allowed
removal. (the heat from friction was done by spinning a worn out phillips driver
in my drill motor on the phillips head screw, it would slip and heat the
screw for removal, only problem with this method the screw is ruined for further
use.)
