I meant to also mention that the cheap off-shore driver bits are more
of a hazard than a bargain.

It is worth the extra cost to get the hardened steel tips in driver
bits, or a least the titanium nitride kind, although some of them are
cheap imitations from Asia.

McFeely's again, seem to know their stuff.

I have found that many of the very cheapest suppliers of screws have
successfully met the challenge of forming real A-holes into their screw heads. Just
like the horseshoe nail of the nursery rhyme ... the loss of a boat to a
screw can happen - don't go cheap.

Some other poster mentioned a beagle on a boat ... pretty small beans (are we
talking Darwin here?) --- now, a fine wet black lab with an inquiring mind
and a helpful attitude down in the bilge with one - THAT'S a challenge worthy
of a sailor.

Please be patient. I am currently awaiting on the patent for a new scew
driver of my own invention. The A-head or arnold driver. My biggest problem is
getting the fastener makers to produce a screw with the appropriate A hole.
