Lobster boat construction Pictures
Hi, Everybody,
I was down in Port Sorell yesterday and took a few new pictures of
the
progress of our lobsterboat. The propeller shaft is now installed in
the stern tube and the propeller fitted. The engine bearers, and
floor
timbers, the partial ribs and the hull under where the engine will be
fitted are totally finished now! epoxy saturated, then 6 coats of
epoxy paint,1 undercoat, then three top coats!.
The engine was supposed to be fitted, well lifted into place
yesterday,
but the man with the crane didn't arrive , so unfortunately that
didn't
happen. Its supposed to be fitted today!.
The latset pictures are in the files section, in the folder "Tyson's
Bunny R Lobsterboat" The newest pictures start at #49 close to the
bottom of the page.
