Minnesota is a design that I keep coming back to. I find the cabin

The mod is just my concept of a modification that might make this 30+
foot dead flat bottom skiff a little better riding on a larger lake,
without changing everything about the forward cabin.
In the essay associated with Minnesota, PCB says "today" he'd put a
"shoe" like the clam skiff's on the bottom. That got me to thinking
that bending the bow up like a garvey, and adding a cutwater ala Topaz
might be good. If it was done like MicroTrawler/Hawkeye more of the
original lines would remain, and right now I may favor doing it that
way. I chose to start the upward bend at the last major bulkhead
forward which is quite different from where it starts on Topaz or
MicroTrawler.
