Thanks very much! Yes, Truman is big help around the shop - he eats
the bugs and chases the mice out of the building. He's also learned to
stay as far away as possible when I'm flipping a boat over, something
he learned when I lost control of FastBrick once. The fall was broken
by Robote, which resulted in a cracked bilge panel to that boat;
fortunately it was easily reparied. He'll be one of the first crew
onboard the Diablo.

Thanks very much! I love the sheer on this boat, too, especially the
way it cocks up at the quarters. I hope it looks as good on the water.

Jon, congratulations on your Diablo. It looks great!!!
Diablo is a really excelent design and yours is finished perfect. I see you
have a dog boatbuilder too :)
Regards, Máximo.
What a beauty! I love look of the sheerline on
Diablo. There is one I see locally (Delaware Bay) and
you can spot that sheer a mile away. It is beautiful,
and looks like nothing else.

My Diablo project will be completed this weekend once I mount the
hatches, cleats, and other fittings (cigar time!). I've posted seven
new pages of photos of her construction on my website. I'm very
happy with how she's turned out, and with the completion of this
project, I can now focus on getting the FastBrick "Stargazer" finally
completed along with my other filler project, a Michalak Robote
rendition. Along with the Long Dory "Venusian," waiting to get wet
since the lake froze over last fall, I expect to have four launchings
this summer! This boatbuilding thing is getting addictive, but it's
good practice for "Auriga" in the future.

The whole Diablo sequence starts here:

To skip to the nearly finished product without paging all the way
through:

Two new Robote pages are also up, making four that start here:
