To reiterate Tim's words in a more succinct phrase . . . " For some
people it's the journey, not the destination."
My memory dredges up a 'discussion' - from Phil or Dynamite - concerning
the 'philosophy' of the designs. The point was a desire to create plans
for boats that WOULD get BUILT. A lot of people 'collect plans' {I'm as
guilty as anybody}and dream about sailing off to Tahiti. All well and
good . . . but it never happens. Then there is the individual who simply
knocks a couple of boards together one weekend and is out on the local
lake/cove/river the next. That was what If it only lasts a summer -
Great . . . they were out, on the water.
Hopefully, we all have the appropriate 'mixture' that suits 'OUR' needs.
. . and financial/time budget.
