Mark, is it possible that you are confusing Dave Bolduc who used to sail
"Little Cruiser" designed by Matt Layden, with Phil Bolger?

Or is it [very possibly] me who's confused :)

Phil Bolger & Friends have designed sail rigs which share similarities with
Junk rig, but if your interest lies with the Layden designs you might repost
your question on one of the Yahoo groups dedicated to them, such as
'paradoxbuilders' or perhaps 'microcruising'

Hello, I see similarities between the Bolger sails, like on his "little cruiser" and a junk rig. What are the functional differences and advantages?

I am considering something like one of these.
