I agree whole-heartedly with the sentiment. The rewards of building a boat
surely are at least equaled the pleasures of a boat's use. Not to mention the
occasional terrors and other lessons in practice. I have a theory about the
disproportion between constuction items and sailing, etc. narratives on this
"e-group", but I think that more of the latter would be welcome.

WOW!! Maybe we need a subgroup for writers and poets? This is inspiring
stuff - especially when I was looking at the same crescent moon over water
yesterday evening - several thousand miles away . . . Small place, this
planet.
