Mike: When I asked, Bolger recommended June Bug for the Ultimate
Florida Challenge, a 1,200 mile version of the Everglades Challenge, as
the best combination of rowing & sailing abilities and light weight. In
flat water, he said it could do 4 mph for long periods . . .

The Zieger's have used their June Bug as a tender for their Martha Jane
and they appear quiet happy with it in that role. The all time great
picture of a June Bug under sail is at the bottom of their June Bug
section web pages

http://www.akzeigers.com/JB.html

Running towards shore on Berner's Bay. I often use it as wallpaper on
the computer.

Mark Zeiger's comment at the end of the page "I highly recommend this
design for anyone looking for a tender that's easy to row, fun to sail,
and stable enough for pulling anchors and crab pots!"

I am thinking of June Bug as an exercuse/recreational rowboat only, no
rig. How does she row?
