wingkeel plans
I finally got the plans for the modifications to my 30-footer reduced
and scanned. The quality ain't great, but hopefully you'll get the
idea. They're files mfmod4 and mfmod5 in the wingkeel folder in the
files section. Comments are appreciated.
The changes from the current boat are a higher and longer cabin, a
fold-down mast, twin instead of a single rudder, a motor well instead
of a stern bracket, and, of course, the "swing wing" instead of a
fixed fin keel.
So far the mast has been shortened to enable it to swing and most of
the casting mold for the lead wings is done.
