Re: Paradox-like Design

Yes George.
Fiji Yawl by Bolger could be the ticket.
Look in Bolger Cartoons - Files for Fiji Yawl.
And you could bring all the family.

Guess you are talking about their "Micro 8":

8' x 5'4"
Draft: 2'11" (from the drawings I gess this is only hull, without keel)

Beach ball is pretty close. This is for someone who wants their
name in the record books under "smallest boat to sail from____ to
____, not for anyone interested in comfortably getting anywhere. I
like small but this one is too far for my taste.

8ft long, and the other two dimensions would be? I guess 6 feet wide
and 5 feet tall are minimums? I think that shape would be akin to a
large beach ball. <smile>

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is Bolger design like Matt Layden's Paradox?
http://home.triad.rr.com/lcruise/paradox1.htm

I like the micro-crusing features of the Paradox, but I would like
something that can take two people comfortably. I like the Micro, but
I would like something that can be enclosed for cruising in cool wet
weather in the Alaska Panhandle and BC coast - maybe like the Micro
Navigator, but a bit lower cabin.

Thanks

George
