I am pretty sure that these photos are 'screen grabs' from that Red
Zinger 'for sale' listing.

built. I think I would go for vertical staves of plywood. Perhaps
theree layers with seams offset. You could probably do two layers with
glass inside and out. John Welsford has the used that for his
Sundowner and it looks very strong. Basically, it's the same idea as
Reuel Parker's New Cold-Molding. Get a professional opinion on the
thickness of the ply.
I was going to say that Red Zinger was a completely dfferent shape
from the Chebacco series, but a re-look at them both in BWAOM shows
a family resemblence. Red Zinger has a proportionately smaller
transom.
I suspect a sheet of ply would not sit on the bilge panel forward,
and some cold-moulding or similar would be required in that area. By
contrast the chine Chebacco hulls look like they'd take sheet
plywood on the bilge panels forward.
There's a lapstrake Chebacco 25. It's much more of an open boat with
a low cuddy than Red Zinger is and, at 2300 lb displacement vs, RZ's
5200 lb, a lot smaller really.

I tried to access the link a day or two ago and got an "Invalid Response from Server" response. Tonight it worked fine.

The accommodation layout is a little different and the transom treatment is a little different, but Red Zinger could be a Chebacco 25 with very little "individualization" by the builder. (I figure that once you get above the sheer line, you're free to use you imagination. I've even thought of a forward sloped front window set for d'Yawl if and when I get that far.)

Just try it and you see the DuckFlatWoodenBoats page as it was last
February. Red Zinger is the last boat on that page.
Let me know, if you have problems.

Mike,
Maybe you could email them and ask whether they would mind emailing to
you copies of the photos of the Red Zinger that was for sale.

Mike,
Only thing I have seen is a tease from Duckflats. They had one for
sale in December, but the pictures are gone. Only two thumbnails come
up when you search the images in Google. Why does the internet tease
us so?

took them off the web, and I'm sure they must be in one of the Bolger

There used to be a nice set over on the Aussie Duck Flats boat

I lifted a few pictures from that ad in the past, onto a floppy,
for my own use, you know, when you just wanna stare at a boat and
imagine yourself in it?
At any rate, if no one else comes up with a link, I can rifle
around for it and e-mail then to you. Let me nknow :-)
